Marbled endsheets. Good only. The spine and covers are heavily rubbed. The spine and the leather corners are darkened and stained. There is a large chip in the leather along the top edge of the rear board near the head of the spine. There is a loss from the head of the spine that measures 3/4 inch wide by 1/2 inch deep. There is a 3 inch loss from the foot of the spine. There are also a couple of other small losses from and surrounding the spine ends, and there are a couple of cracks along the front joint. The underlying boards are exposed occasionally along the edges. There is brief numerical notation at the foot of the contents page.
