Volumes 1 and 2 are in good condition, and volume 3 is in fair condition only. The extremities are rubbed and gently bumped. There are also multiple small light stains on the covers. The underlying boards are peeking through occasionally along the edges. The bottom edges of the text blocks are lightly scuffed. There are sporadic small closed tears in the edges of the mildly browned pages. There are also very episodic small light stains on the pages. There are several small light stains on the front endsheet of volume 1, and the front endsheet is cracked along the hinge. The text block of this volume is just beginning to crack at p. 817. The text block of volume 2 is cracked at the beginning and end. The rear endsheet has two thin 6 and 1/2 inch long moisture stains. Volume 3 has 2 long splits in the cloth along the front joint. The slightly longer split measures 4 inches long. The backstrip is coming away from the spine. The front hinge is broken, and the text block is coming away from the spine. The pages at the beginning of volume 3 are hanging on by a thread. There is a loss from the top edge of the rear flyleaf. May require extra postage due to weight. As is. Item #30987
