The boards crackle a bit when they are opened. The extremites are gently bumped and rubbed. The spine is very slightly rolled, and there is a very small moisture stain on the top edge of the text block. With a dust jacket in good condition. Mildly rubbed and creased. There are numerous small losses from the edges. There are also multiple small closed tears in the edges. The longest closed tear measures just under 1 inch deep. There is an abraded moisture stain at the foot of the spine and surrounding areas. It is 1 and 1/4 inches tall by 2 inches wide. Item #31240
This title is listed as the last title on the front inside flap and on the verso of the half title page. Number 17 in the series. The Cherry Ames Nurse Stories were published by Grosset and Dunlap from 1943 to 1968. The original author of the series was Helen Wells, who later stopped writing the Cherry Ames and Vicki Barr series in order to pursue other projects.
