New York: Horace Liveright, 1930. First edition. Hardcover. SIGNED. 233pp. Octavo [19.5 cm] Orange and blue cloth covered boards with silver stamped titles on the spine and front cover, and a small silver stamped palm tree design on the front cover. Good plus. The extremities are mildly rubbed and soiled. The spine is rolled, slightly indented, and subtly faded. Much of the title information on the spine has rubbed away, the cloth at the ends of the spine is just a little bit frayed. There are also several very tiny puncture marks in the cloth of the spine. The top edge of the text block is darkened. A photographic representation of the author in paper has been glued to the front free endsheet, above the author's inscription. This page also has a small price sticker stain. The hinges are soft, and the text block is fragile in many places. The pages are tanned. Item #31936
