Leather bound. 566pp. Octavo [22 cm] 3/4 leather with black pebbled cloth covered boards, and a gilt stamped title and gilt ruled lines on the spine. Very good. The extremities are gently rubbed. The spine is faded. There is a loss from the leather at the head of the spine that measures 1 and 1/2 inches wide by 1/4 inch deep at its deepest point. The underlying boards are exposed at the corners. There is a former owner's ink stamp on the front free endsheet. Very occasional light stains throughout the mildly tanned pages. Pp. 121-125 are a bit more stained. There are chips and closed tears in the margins of pp. 141-143. A couple of pages have brief notations. Item #31952
