The extremities are rubbed, and the underlying boards are exposed occasionally along the edges. The corners of the covers are bumped, and there are several prominent indentations along the edges of the covers. There are thin white stains on the top fore edge of the front cover. The cloth at the spine ends is heavily chipped and frayed, and the there is a 1/4 inch loss from the cloth at the head of the backstrip. There is a bit of fraying along the edges of the covers as well. The edges of the text block are darkened, and there are multiple small light stains on the top edge. There are library labels on the front pastedown. The pages are browned. The book is sturdy. Item #33000
