Also brown hardcovers with gilt stamped titles against black backgrounds on the spines. Top edges gilt. Very good. Minor edge wear to the extremities. The title information on a handful of the spines has been rubbed off. The spines are very sporadically rolled forward or back. A small amount of covers are just a little bit concave. There are very occasional small stains on the edges of the text blocks. The boards and text block of volume 4 are very warped. The fore edge of the text block of volume 8 is mildly stained. A couple of The Great Ideas volumes have small abraded areas and light damp staining on the covers. Item #33484
