From the first page- "Here is history at the grass-roots level. This book records the experiences of many of the pioneers who crossed the plains to forge a new life in the west and chose the fertile fields of West Bountiful for their homesteads. It chronicles the growth of schools, churches, farming and business enterprises, and the growth of the local government entities."
