The covers are mildly stained along the joints. The rear cover has a two tiny dark stains, and a jagged 4 inch long, light, jagged scratch mark. The spine is sunned. There is a small soiled scuff mark on the bottom edge of the text block. The endsheets are darkened, and there is a contemporary gift inscription on the front free endsheet.
