London: George Allen and Unwin Ltd. 1948. Hardcover. 294pp. Duodecimo [19 cm] Orange cloth covered boards with a black ink stamped title on the spine. Very good. The spine is rolled, and the spine ends and edges of the covers are gently bumped and rubbed. The endsheets are darkened and foxed. Yellowed pages. The book is sturdy. The dust jacket is in good condition. The edges have multiple small open and closed tears. Many of these tears have been backed with tape. The dust jacket is also age-toned and lightly rubbed. Despite the mentioned flaws, the jacket is still quite attractive. Item #35202
