With letter to Rondo A. Murphy tucked in. Inscribed by Murphy on the front free endsheet to James D. Wardle. Additionally signed by Wardle on the half title page. Wardle's family had a long history with the LDS and RLDS church. Wardle held many positions in the RLDS Church. In 1970 he became disillusioned with the mainstream RLDS Church, and from that time until his death he took part in the local expression of RLDS fundamentalism or restorationism.
