Gilt bands to head and foot of backstrip. Decorative black stamping to front board. Fair condition only. Ex-library. The extremities are heavily rubbed and mildly stained. There are roughly 5 small splits in the cloth at the ends of the spine. The underlying boards are exposed at the corners. The hinges are broken. There are several library markings on the front endsheet, and the rear free endsheet is adhered to the front pastedown. The text block is cracked multiple times at the beginning.
