New York: George H. Doran Company, 1923. First edition. Hardcover. 291pp. Duodecimo [19.5 cm] Maroon cloth over boards with a gilt stamped title on the spine, and an embossed title and decorative designs on the front cover. Very good. The spine ends are subtly bumped. There is a bookseller's ink stamp on the front pastedown, and there is a tiny open tear in the top edge of the rear pastedown. The pages are a little tanned. In a fair dust jacket. Torn and mildly rubbed and soiled. The tears have been covered or backed with tape or paper. The title on the jacket's spine is a bit faded. Despite these flaws, the jacket is still moderately attractive. From the collection of Berkeley book collector and letter press printer, John Ruyle. Bleiler CFL. Item #37840
