Photographic frontispiece and photographic plates facing pages 84, 104, 106, 154, 232, 242 and 316. There is a contemporary owner's inscription on the front free endsheet. Good. The spine is slightly rolled, and the edges of the spine and covers are mildly rubbed and bumped. The pages are age-toned, and the text block is cracked at p. 145.
