The edges of the spine and covers are gently bumped and rubbed. There are three small stains on the bottom edge of the text block. The front pastedown has a previous owner's bookplate (the owner's name has been rubbed out) and the top fore edge corner of the front free endsheet has been cut out. With the pictorial dust jacket, designed by David Kyle, in very good condition. Mildly rubbed. There is a small abraded area on the front cover, where a sticker has been removed.
