Top edge trimmed; other edges deckled. There are large areas of light staining on the covers, the spine ends are gently bumped, and the underlying boards are exposed occasionally along the edges of the covers. The preliminary and terminal pages are foxed. In a dust jacket, with darkening to the jacket's spine, subtle foxing, and numerous small, thin losses from insect nibbling along the folds of the flaps.
