Black and white illustrations; some folding. Good. Minor wear and rubbing. The edges of the spine and covers are gently bumped. The spine and top edge of the front cover are faded. There is a former owner's ink stamp on the bottom edge of the text block, and again on the front endsheet and pastedown. The front endsheet is cracked along the hinge. There is a bookseller's small label on the front pastedown, and there is a small notation on the front free endsheet. There is a previous owner's ink stamp on the lightly foxed title page.
