The edges of the spine and covers are gently rubbed, bumped and faded. The top edge of the text block is mildly soiled. The endsheets are darkened. There is a contemporary gift inscription on the front free endsheet. Pages mildly browned. The dust jacket is in good condition only. Heavily rubbed and creased. There are numerous small losses from the edges. There is an abraded patch on the spine, obscuring part of the title. There is a 1 inch closed tear in the top edge. The rear panel is slightly soiled.
