New York: The Macaulay Company, 1932. First Edition. Hardcover. 315pp. Small octavo [19 cm] Bright green cloth spine and boards. Green publisher's topstain. Very good with a very good dust jacket. Light rubbing at the head and tail of the spine and at the tips of the corners. Light bump at the head and tail of the spine. Slight spine lean. The bottom edge of the text block has 5 or 6 small stains. Dust jacket - has three 1/3" chips in the head of the spine and some very light chipping at the tail. 1/2" chip in the tip of the lower front corner and a 1/4" chip in the tips of the others. There are a couple of small closed tears in the bottom edge. The longest closed tear is just under 1 inch long. Light rubbing in some places around the outside edges. The spine is sunned. Very subtle damp staining on the spine of the dust jacket and the surrounding area of the rear panel. There are several very small visible stains on the jacket's spine as well. Price-clipped. Despite the flaws, the jacket is very attractive. Item #11988
