There are closed and open tears in the leather at the head of the spine, and there is a 5 inch loss from the foot of the spine. The leather corners are absent. The underlying boards are exposed along the edges. There are multiple losses from the pages at the beginning and end of the text. The pages are partially detached or completely detached.
