Hardcover. 657pp. Octavo [19.5 cm] Brown cloth covered boards with decorative black ink and gilt stamped titles and vignettes on the spine and front cover. The front hinge is broken. There is a contemporary gift inscription in pencil on the front free endsheet, and there is a former owner's ink stamp on the title page. There is also a letter stamped on ink on the verso of the front free endsheet. The rear free endsheet is split along the hinge, however the book is sturdy. Good. Item #23637
