The covers are heavily rubbed. The underlying boards are exposed along the edges. The cloth backstrip has almost completely come away from the spine. The text block has almost completely come away from the covers. The front board has been split in half. The hinges were once reinforced with tape, and the brittle tape is still adhered to the title page and the rear pastedown. The text block is cracked multiple times. There are a couple of large closed tears on p. 75 and on the illustration page opposite p. 75. The bottom edges of the pages are subtly moisture stained. Occasional light soiling and creasing throughout the pages. Item #24296
