There are several very small stains on the covers. The subtly faded spine is heavily rolled, and the cloth at the spine ends is frayed. There are a couple of small splits in the cloth along the rear joint. The underlying boards are just peeking through at the bottom right corner of the front cover. The hinges are weak.
