Liverpool: Published by George Q. Cannon, 1864. First edition. Leather bound. 512pp. Octavo [22 cm] 3/4 dark blue leather with pebbled blue cloth covered boards. Good. Ex-library. The covers are lightly rubbed, and are barely perceptible stained. The edges of the covers are gently bumped. The underlying boards are exposed along the edges. The spine is heavily rubbed and discolored, and there is a small patch at the foot of the spine, where a library label once was. There are library stamps on the edges of the text block. The text block is cracked at the title page, and again at the end of the text. The front pastedown has a brief notation in pen, a large abraded patch, and a library label.
