The rear board is slightly damp stained. There is a thin 1 and 1/2 inch long stain near the rear joint of the spine. The title on the spine is rubbed and partially obscured. The top edge of the text block is slightly soiled. The endsheets are darkened. There is a contemporary gift inscription on the front free endsheet. The rear endsheet is stained along the hinge. The dust jacket is in fair condition only. Mildly darkened and soiled. The edges are heavily chipped and have multiple small losses and a several 1 inch closed tears. The largest loss from the edges measures roughly 1 inch wide by 1 inch deep. There are a several thin 1 inch long open tears along the fold of the front inside flap. There is a brief numerical notation on the front panel. There is a moisture stain that measures 2 and 1/2 inches by 3 inches on the front panel, and there is a moisture stain measuring 3 and 1/2 by 4 inches on the rear panel. The internal, non-visible side of the jacket is lightly foxed and slightly darkened. Item #26420
