The edges of the covers and spine are bumped and lightly rubbed. The underlying boards are exposed at the corners. There is a small bend in the front board. The spine is slightly rolled. The fore edge of the text block is slightly nicked. With the publisher's complimentary stamp on the front pastedown. There is a former owner's name on the front free endsheet. The dust jacket is in fair condition only, with soiling. The rear inside flap is almost completely detached. There is a light moisture stain on the paper at the foot of the spine.
