The covers are rubbed and abraded. There is a piece of tape adhered to the title label of the spine. The illustrated plates are darkened, however the coloration is still very bright. There are very light tidemarks to the top quarters of the pages. The plates which would presumably be numbered 1851, 1858, and 1867 are not present. Plates 1875, 1881, and 1883 are bound in at the rear. The final 2 plates are partially detached. Good +. Item #27668

With 48 hand colored plates, including 3 plates illustrating head dresses, and 3 plates illustrating men's fashion. The plates list the names and addresses of the Paris dressmakers, hairdressers, florists, and jewellers where these elegant fashions could be obtained.
