Hardcover. 317pp. Octavo [21.5 cm] 1/2 black cloth with tan paper covered boards , a gilt stamped title on the spine, and the author's name stamped in gilt on the front board. The edges of the spine and covers are slightly bumped, rubbed and faded. There are a couple of tiny stains on the bottom edge of the front cover. There is a deep gouge in the rear board. The edges of the text block are very mildly foxed and soiled. The pages are subtly yellowed. The dust jacket is in good condition only. Darkened, creased, and rubbed. The jacket is also slightly soiled and stained. There are numerous small losses from the edges. There are also multiple small and large thin or closed tears in the edges. The longest tear measures 1 and 1/2 inches long. Price-clipped. Item #28787
