The spine and covers are rubbed and bumped, and the spine is heavily rolled and faded. The cloth at the spine ends is frayed, and there are several splits in the cloth at the ends of the spine. The largest split measures 1/4 inch long. There is a small light stain on the bottom edge of the front cover, and there is another very small light stain on the spine. There are numerous extremely tiny stains, along with a light scuff mark, on the bottom edge of the text block. The hinges are a little weak. The endsheets are mildly soiled, and one can see a very faint contemporary owner's notation on the front free endsheet. The text block is cracked multiple times. Yellowed pages. Item #29583
