Ex-library. The leather covers and spine are mottled, scratched and rubbed, and the underlying boards are exposed along the edges. There are large losses from the leather along the rear joint and surrounding areas on the spine. There are two cracks in the front joint at the head and the foot of the spine. The longer crack measures 1 and 1/2 inches long. There are losses from the leather at the ends of the spine that measure 1 and 3/4 of an inch wide by 1/4 inch deep. The surface of the spine has numerous thin cracks. The top edge of the text block has many very small white stains, and the fore edge of the text block has multiple small dark stains. Library bookplate on the front pastedown. There are ink stamps on the half title page and the title page. Small pen mark on the rear flyleaf. The pages are age-toned. The majority of the pages have large but light damp stains. The pages also have occasional small stains. There may be a very occasional ink stamp on the text. The text block is sturdy.
