The extremities are rubbed and scratched. The boards are cracked along the joints, and the joints have been glued. There is a large tear in the leather backstrip at the head of the spine. There is a 1/4 inch loss from the foot of the spine. The underlying boards are exposed occasionally along the edges. There is a small open tear in the surface of the front free endsheet, and again on one of the first pages. There is a former owner's name and address on the Officers of the House page. The edges of the pages at the beginning and end are darkened. The text block is cracked at the beginning and end. There is a former owner's name and address on the title page. Yellowed pages. As is.
