The covers are damp stained, and slightly age-toned, rubbed and creased. The edges of the text block are moisture stained as well. There are a couple of small light moisture stains on the bottom edge of the inside of the front cover, and on the bottom edge of the first page. The pages are subtly yellowed, but the majority of them are very clean. Item #31892
Walt Kelly's career in animation began in 1936 at Walt Disney Studios, where he contributed to Pinocchio and Fantasia. In 1941, Kelly resigned at the age of 28 to work at Dell Comics, where he created Pogo.
