"Race Suicide" Infanticide, Prolicide, Leprocide vs. Children. Letters Messrs. Joseph Smith [III] and Wm. H. Kelley. Aggressively Defensive

[Salt Lake City, UT]: [1904]. 58pp. Octavo [22.5 cm] Printed stapled wrappers. Very good. Item #37086

This is Mussers' reply to Joseph Smith III and the RLDS Church's claim that the Prophet Joseph Smith did not practice polygamy, and the importance of plural marriage in times of declining birth rates. William Kelley would offer a reply to this pamphlet titled 'In Defense of Monogamic Marriage.' Amos Milton Musser (1830-1909) was an influential Mormon pioneer who held a variety of positions both ecclesiastical and professional, including being the Assistant Church Historian, one of the earliest missionaries to the subcontinent, one of the founders of Zions Bank, and a correspondent for the Deseret News. Musser is also the father of the Mormon fundamentalist leader, Joseph Musser. Flake/Draper 5687.
