New York: Ives Washburn, 1931. First edition. Hardcover. 168pp. Quarto [28 cm] Red velour cloth over boards with the title stamped in black ink on the spine and front cover. White and black pictorial endpapers. Very good. The boards are rubbed, scratched, and a little stained. There is a subtle lean to the spine, and the spine ends and corners of the covers are bumped. The pages are age-toned. In a good only gold, red and black pictorial dust jacket, with several small losses from the edges, and multiple pieces of tape backing closed tears in the edges. Mildly rubbed. Item #41274

Utah artist, John Held Jr., was one of the best known magazine illustrators of the 1920s, and his designs for F. Scott Fitzgerald jackets became icons of the Jazz Age.
