Lavish black and white illustrated endpapers. Very good condition, with numerous very small spots of abrasion on the gently bowed front cover. There are multiple short splits in the cloth at the ends of the spine. There is a bookseller's small ticket on the rear flyleaf. The text block is cracked at p. 199. In a fair only dust jacket, torn in half and with a loss from the paper at the foot of the jacket's spine. Item #44812
