London: Duckworth, 1930. Clare Leighton. First edition with woodcuts by Clare Leighton. Hardcover. 343pp. Octavo [22.5 cm] Dark green cloth over boards with a gilt stamped title on the backstrip. Very good, with moderate bumping and rubbing to the spine ends and corners of the covers. The pages are a bit tanned. In a very good dust jacket, with much sunning at the jacket's spine, and along the edges (the title is still printed boldly on the spine). The edges are just a trifle chipped, and one of these chips has been backed with a small piece of tape. Item #45111
