CLXVI; 425; 13pp. Octavo [22.5 cm] Original full brown leather with raised bands, a black gilt stamped title label, and gilt ruled borders on the spine. Marbled endpapers. Turn ins gilt. Very good, with heavy rubbing to the extremities and a 2" scrape in the leather of the rear board. There a numerous contemporary, and slightly later, notations on the preliminary pages, and the top fore edge corner has been cut out of the title page. The pages are lightly foxed, and have sporadic small, light tide marks. The largest tide marks measure 1" wide by 1/2" deep. Item #46077
