Decorative gilt stamped spine. The top edge has the publisher's brown stain; other edges deckled. The bottom fore edge corners of both covers have large moisture stains (does not extend to the text block). With a 1/2 inch loss from the cloth at the head of the spine, and small tears at the foot of the spine. The endsheets are cracked along the hinges at the front and rear, and the text block is beginning to come away from the spine. The dedication page is nearly detached, and there are very occasional dark patches on the pages. Good. Item #47418
