First printing, with the complete number row down to one. Beautifully illustrated by Peter Parnall, who was also the illustrator for Edward Abbey's Desert Solitaire. A juvenile title about life in the Bear River Migratory Bird refuge, a freshwater marsh on the shores of the Great Salt lake in Utah.
