Ecco, 2010. First edition. Hardcover. 278pp. Octavo [23 cm] Deep purple paper over boards. The spine is slightly rolled, and there is a light stain on the front board that measures roughly 1" wide by 3/4" tall (it appears as though someone has tried unsuccessfully to rub the stain away). This stain is also present on the dust jacket, but it is only visible on the reverse. Very good / very good. Item #54837
A portrait of Patti Smith and Robert Mapplethorpe. From the dust jacket- "Just Kids begins as a love story and ends as an elegy. It serves as a salute to New York City during the late sixties and seventies and to its rich and poor, its hustlers and hellions. A true fable, it is a portrait of two young artists' ascent, a prelude to fame."
