Salt Lake City, UT: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1964. New York World's Fair Souvenir edition. Paperback. 568pp. Duodecimo [17.5 cm] Pebbled red cloth over thin card wraps. There is a 1" crack at the head of the spine along the front joint, and there is a small chip to the top fore-edge corner of the front wrap. The pages are clean. In the elusive jacket, with a number of small losses from the edges, along with a number of closed tears along the edges and folds. Many of these tears have been backed with tape. The rear panel of the jacket shows the statue of Moroni that sits atop the Salt Lake Temple with a brief description. Rear flap contains an image of a diorama that features a 14 year old Joseph Smith just prior to the First Vision. The front flap is a gatefold that shows an image of a diorama of Christ in Jerusalem - 32 AD (left side) and Christ in the Western Hemisphere - 34 AD (right side). Very good / fair. Item #55091
