The backstrip and areas of the boards are faded, the front hinge is going, there is a prior owner's bookplate on the front pastedown. All plates are present, however several plates are nearly detached. Good. Item #55225
With twelve color plates, illustrated by Gwynedd Hudson. Hudson was an illustrator and poster artist. Her illustrations for Alice's Adventures in Wonderland feature subdued colors and darker tones which are beautiful and a bit threatening at the same time.
