New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1901. Author's Edition. Hardcover. Octavo [21.5 cm]. Green cloth over boards with gilt title on spines and front boards, and gilt ruled border on front boards. Top of text block is gilt. Deckled fore-edges. The extremities are bumped and rubbed. Many of the boards have stains or light soiling. Spines are heavily sun bleached. A few volumes have cracked textblocks. Volume 1 of "Sentimental Tommy" has been stabbed with an unknown 1cm object, puncturing the front board and the textblock nearly all the way through. "Nicotine" bears a previous owner's inscription on front flyleaf, as does "Auld." "Auld" also bears the mark of water damage, with a slight buckling to the boards and a waviness to the textblock. Good +. Item #55668
