Philadelphia, PA: The National Railway Publication Co., November, 1874. Original edition. Hardcover. 538pp plus index. Quarto [26 cm] Recased. Printed boards over cloth spine with perished leather spine label. Hinges reinforced with tissue. This was once held in a Reading Room Library (paper label on the front pastedown). Two small losses to the surface of the title page, obscuring just a couple of letters. With a nice color map. Very Good. Item #56322

A monthly periodical listing passenger timetables for railroads and steamships. This guide was once the premier source for the person traveling by train. The publication was first produced by Edward Vernon in 1868, and included every common-carrier railroad, regardless of whether they provided passenger service or not.
