T. S. Eliot won the Nobel Prize in Literature for "Four Quartets" in 1948. The "Four Quartets" were first published individually from 1936 to 1942, and in book form in 1943. Eliot's masterpiece reveals the cyclical nature of life through images and themes interlaced throughout the four poems.
