Dennis Hopper (May 17, 1936 – May 29, 2010) was an American filmmaker and actor who directed and played in films such as Rebel Without a Cause, Giant, Easy Rider, and Apocalypse Now. Also known for his art and photography, his book presents a collection of full-frame photographs taken by Dennis Hopper between the ages of 18 and 31; and includes essays by Michael McClure and Walter Hopps as well as a short bibliography of his notable works.
