Kaufmann & Fabry Co. Photograph. Panoramic photograph [8" x 36"; 8 3/4" x 37" in frame]. A breathtaking panoramic view, teeming with human subjects lined up in front of Chicago's McCormick Works, and even seen in the windows above. With an inset titled: "Officials of the International Harvester Company and National Prize Winners." Prominently visible, in bold letters, is the slogan painted on the building which reads, "QUALITY IS THE FOUNDATION OF OUR BUSINESS." A group of youth in the foreground are holding a banner which states: "International Harvester Company Prize Contest For Best Kept Farm Business Records in 1938-1939. Open to All 4-H Club Members." Several subjects hold pennant for Louisiana and Nebraska. The Hamilton County Iowa 4-H Club Band stands proudly to the side, two of them standing in a workhorse truck with trombones. The photograph is a bit rippled and moisture stained in areas. There is wear to the frame and some dampstaining to the rear material of the frame. Despite these flaws, the image is still quite fetching. Item #58449
