Color lithograph print on wove paper advertising the release of La Gomme, a novel by Félicien Champsaur which Cheret illustrated. The poster was produced by Les Maitres de l'Affiche and is plate 225. The image shows a group of well-dressed me and women walking between the words "La Gomme/ Par Félicien Champsaur" in stylized black letters. Along the top and bottom of the image in orange lettering are the words "En Vente chez tous les Libraires Prix 3 fr 50/ E. Dentu. Editeur, 3. Place de Valois, Paris". There are two publishers stamps, one in black ink in the lower left corner, and a dry blind stamp in the lower right. Very good. Item #59196
