Hardcover. 112pp. Quarto [31 cm] Green cloth over boards with a gilt stamped title on the spine, and a pictorial paper label mounted to the front board. There are thin losses from the cloth at the ends of the spine, the cloth is a bit frayed along the bottom edges of the boards, and the underlying boards are exposed at the very corners of the boards. The illustrator, Milo Winter, was a well known illustrator of the "Golden Age," and the art editor of Childcraft books from 1947 to 1949.
