The edges of the spine and boards are a bit dinged and rubbed. The endpapers are darkened along the hinges. There are prominent tape stains to the recto of the front flyleaf, and on the verso there is a previous owner's bookplate. Very good. Item #61008
Illustrations by Sir Francis Rose. Written by Gertrude Stein's long-term partner. Pg. 259- the Hashish Fudge recipe has been removed. The British edition, which preceded the Harpers edition by just a few days, included the recipe, however the Harper's edition omitted it.
